The String Section

As a kid, I took violin lessons. Not to put too fine a point on it, but the sounds I cranked out of that poor fiddle were pathetic. After two years without progress, I quit. But I never stopped loving where the music took me and wishing I could sing or play.

I have since learned that there’s more than one way to make music. I may not sing on key, but I can still coax a violin to carry my voice. That’s what the works in this series are about. They are my way of sharing music.
